Value of 1966 911 needing restoration

    Hi All,

As usual I find myself with too many projects and too little time. I acquired this car as part of a package deal a few months back and would like opinions on fair market value. My goal at this point is to decide whether to store it as a potential restoration in the future or to sell it and fund other projects.

    • The car has most of the parts except the original engine and trans., wheels and radio (I have the center bumper panel and correct mirror). I am assuming all of the body panels are original but need to confirm.
    • I do have the correct type engine and trans. that could be sold with the car.
    • The rust seems confined to the floors, which need to be addressed and probably replaced.
    • The car has been in storage for some time and no accident damage is apparent.

      Per COA:
      VIN 303566, Engine 903772, Trans 227846
      MY 1966 911 coupe
      Production date 2/17/1966
      Exterior Light Ivory
      Interior Black Leatherette
Options, Webasto, Baupunkt radio, 2 loudspeakers, antenna, Dunlop tires

So what are the thoughts on value as a roller and/or with the engine and trans. Any input is greatly appreciated.

      Thanks
      Kevin
