Reflectors

Hi,

I think these forums are great and most of the cars here are very special.

I have a simple question considering I am dropping my motor on Sunday. I have these reflectors in my collection of parts. Do they belong in my rear tail lights? Or are they for an early 911 at all?

My car is a 1972 911T targa that is an originally Canadian car and came with amber (ROW) tail light lenses.

Yes, those go in the tail light housing and are the reflectors for the U.S. mandated side marker lights. The R.O.W. cars don't use them.

I'd buy them from you if you are not using them. I'm missing one after my recent restoration and the other is cracked. Those look great....

FWIW, my Australian delivered ROW does have them, but they are a different pattern (concentric ribbed circles). Ed's right - there is no marker light wired in though.
