What is the value of this front deco trim piece??

Can you help me? I recently bought a 1970 911T. It came with some extra parts... one of the parts is this front bumper deco trim. It is NOT in 'like new' condition.
It is scratched, scuffed, etc... and may have a slight bend to it, but it's hard to tell, so it's not severe. I'm going to sell this piece, but don't know what a fair price is...
What is your thought? Once I get an idea of a fair price, I'll list it separately... this is NOT a For Sale ad....
    thanks

Pelican sold these new for around the same amount until recently. Yours is probably not worth far from that if it cleans up nicely. If you are serious about selling it, wipe off the dust and surface rust with some very fine steel wool, apply a little Armorall on the rubber and see what you have.

Pelican has this as a reproduction for under $100: http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/...0%281965-73%29

Original is better of course, but unless it's nearly perfect, it won't fetch more than the repro.

It is worth the current price of scrap aluminum. Decent repros are available from us and many other vendors. Once those things are bent or dented they are almost impossible to restore. You see dozens of those things at every swap meet (They almost never sell, either) . The cost to ship the thing will be 10 times more than the selling price.

PS: I have a pile of those that are going to the scrap mill on our next trip
