FS: 1970 911s coupe (German car that ended up in Australia)

I am selling my 1970 911s project. The car is located in Perth, Australia. But I am happy to assist with shipping (which I am told would be US$1,000 to US$2,000).

It is for sale on an Australian website. Here is the link:

    Here is the summary:

The car was built on 1 March 1970. It was originally sold and delivered in Germany as a LHD. Its original colour was silver metallic (925) with a black interior, with the following options: 425 Rear wiper, 427: Stainless steel muffler skirt, 430 fog lights, 452 radio, 470, comfort pack, 471 heated rear window. Sometime before 1989 it was imported to Australia. Presumably at the time it was imported it was also converted from LHD to RHD. The engine is not original. It is a 2.7L from a mid 1970s 911, however, I think some original parts remain on the engine. Eg. The red fan housing. All other running gear is original "s" spec, including gearbox and brakes. It has fiberglass front fenders and rear flares. The car needs quite a lot of work. It has rust in a few places. The paint is not great. The wiring is a bit of a mess and it runs pretty rough. I understand the engine was rebuilt in 2006.

In my opinion, it would be great to sell this car to someone in a LHD country so they can restore it back to its original spec and convert it back to LHD. That is why I am advertising it outside of Australia on the Early S Registry.

I am asking AU $25,000 which is almost exactly the same as USD, so US$25,000. I am open to offers.

    Thanks.

Thanks Peter (trust me to leave the VIN out of the summary).

I've taken some more photos (mainly of the rusted areas). If anyone wants to look at them, email me and I'll send them through.

    Cheers
