FS: 380MM Thick grip steering wheel w/hockey puck

    One more available

A very nice steering wheel with thick grip (3 1/2"). OEM cross-stitching on the wheel and baseball stitching on the short spoke parts.

Includes a recreation of the original factory horn button that was the "de rigeur" choice for all early race versions and high performance road cars. As you may or may not know, rally cars were required to have fully functional horns, the "dogbone" and "batwing" styles had a nasty habit of hanging on the drivers gloves and flying off or worse yet snagging the gloves and NOT flying of!!! According to Jurgen Barth, replacing this with the hockey puck was the first order of business. This new version is fully complete including the base, bezel, insert, leather and spring clip (bracket). CNC Machined Aluminum features identical dimensions as originals. The Porsche logo is embossed in the center of the leather badge.

$750 including FedEx shipping to the continental US.
    $550 without hockey puck

    Hi,
A newbie in the early 911 world. Just bought a '73 911T Targa.
It didn't come with factory steering wheel, will this be the correct one for it?
    Thank you.

No it wouldn't - your car would have originally come with a 400mm diameter wheel.

I bought one of these wheels from Ramon a year ago, for my 1973 RSR hotrod.
It fits perfectly....looks the part inside the car....and is high, high quality.
The Nardi and 74RSR style wheels I previously had in the car....sit lonely on the shelf these days.

One thing though....my horn doesn't work with the new wheel.
What's the trick with that Ramon?
I'm wired into the steering column, and the horn worked with the other wheels.
I did remove the small plastic washer inside the horn button already.
    Thx...
