    Hereīs my two cents.

In Sweden, they can be found quite cheap compared to the prices Iīve seen on ebay etc. From $300 to $500

I donīt know to much about them but there seems to be one type with metal casing and one with some kind of plastic? Yours looks like a early, metal one?

    This guy should know more!

Haldaman (Martin Jubb) has passed away at least a year ago.

I think your estimate of $300-$500 is pretty good. I personally would think $300-$400, $500-$550 for a nice one. So if you want to restore it, you have to strip it, get the decals and it takes you about 1/2 day.

BTW I think the current "guru" is Belmog in Belgium. There is also Willi Potjans in Germany, but he does it on the side.

The older metal cases are more valuable, especially the "Twinmaster". You'll eventually need the correct cogs and "T" gear drive also. Great period piece.

They are very simple and straightforward. What wears out is the far most right number wheel. It hits the same teeth off that number wheel every time it's reset. The solution is to grind it off and replace it w/ a new ring gear.
