I'm partial to '72 because of the oil door and MFI. The '71 with zeniths is great too. But they are all great cars to drive.

Most say 73 1/2, its 2.4, has a 7R case and CIS. The result is a very "drivable" car with excellent gas mileage.

    Which is your favorite child?

I'm partial to '69 S's, last year for the high strung 2.0, light weight, first year for mfi and LWB.

My 73 1/2 hot rod is great fun, too....

They are all good for one reason or another.

If you are looking at T's only, in their stock form, the 73.5 cars offer the greatest power and most S like driving experience at a fraction of the cost of an S
