    Question about fan housing strap

    Trivia question for the day (although we know no question abut these cars is trivial): for a 1972 E, is the double bolt fan housing strap supposed to be painted black or gold cadmium plated? Did this change in 1973 with the single bolt strap?

    My 73 T has a cadmium plated fan strap with a single bolt.

    I believe the factory changed to the single bolt cad/zinc strap in about Jan. of the 'F' series production.
