A 72 model car in Europe would have silver light surrounds front and rear. Harder to get than the black surrounds (unless you are happy with repro). Then you need to decide if the standard euro look or the Italian look is the one for you. Choices, choices......

Don't know where to get originals. Try EASY. But, I will say that I put Euro white/orange lenses on my '73. I love the look. However I have to admit that they are kind of goofy where the white part is not physically blocked off from the orange part. So the whole thing lights up. I guess my point is that you might want to consider getting the full Euro turnsignal unit. But, prices are quite dear.

    Here's a thread discussing, among other things, European lighting . . .

    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ht=euro+lights

And Jay's right . . . . there's more to European cars than just a changing the lenses. Besides the housings, you'll also need to twink the wiring, a bit

As for finding this stuff, I'm sure you can ping some of our members in Europe for help . . . uai, andyjboy, and andrea70 (who seems to have a never-ending collection of some really amazing sh!t). Also try Edmund Harri$. It follows that this stuff would somewhat more sourceable in Europe any way.
