Looks pretty in that one shot. I notice they still haven't sold their tangerine S, http://www.cooperclassiccars.com/Car...ine%202012.asp
Last I asked them, 6 months ago, it was $138k

24 pics on their web site. Left rear quarter paint looks to be a mismatch and poor door jam repaint quality. Anyone know the price?

    Here we go again !

It appears to be a very nice early '66 MY

    1. Ad states that car has 1966 title
    3. Photo of drivers door jam plainly shows 6604 paint code

Yet another opportunist persists in exploiting the "65" craze by advertising it in a big bold header as a '65 even though he states in the description that it is in fact a '66 MY!

    I love it !

I visited Cooper Classics yesterday and examined both cars (the tangerine S and the early Ivory 911).

I have to say that I wasn't interested in the 1966 911 as it suffered too much to be left in its current condition and therefore needs a total restoration. The tangerine S on the other hand appears to be a really good car: it has the right dose of patina and that super sturdy feel that only unrestored Porsche have (doors close properly etc...).

    Milou,

By any chance did you notice and/or spend any time looking at the '55 pre A.
If so, what did you think of it as it too appears very nice in the photos.

I met Tim, the general manager and yes I did see the 55 pre A which I believe is prices at 185?

The car is really in excellent order and quite impressive. The sunroof is not factory but was installed shortly after and looks absolutely great. Somehow, it isn't a car I really got excited about, perhaps I'm still too much in the 911 spirit.
