    The car looks very nice...

However, it might be the camera or my monitor but, the color looks to me much more like #334 Blue Metallic than #330 Gemini Blue.

Chuck, the ad indicates "Gemini Blue Metallic". Wonder is this makes a difference?

I saw the car and spoke with the owner at the Dana Point Concour at the St. Regis on 7/24

CPR is asking $160k firm for the car

For $160k, they could at least source a NON-silver coil....

Funny. They are schizophrenic on the details. They have exactly the right Porsche knobs on the Becker Europa (not the ones with the silver rings which are MB), but they have tygon tube on the tank breather, and of course the wrong (but nicer) older bumpers. The right seat recliner right side bracket seems to have not been blasted prior to paint, but the other stuff looks great. WHether it is 100% correct or not, it is stunning.

I can categorically state that the factory never built them that perfect. Yes it does have some errors but they do a good job. It's sort of what people expect these days when they go looking for a restored car. I don't think they'd pay that kind of money for a car restored as they rolled out the factory door. Although I'd rather have the Hollywood car and 6Ok
    in my pocket.

I'm a little bit confused about this picture here: http://www.caporsche.net/images/cars...of/900w/44.jpg

what do you think? is this picture taken before or after fresh painting the body outside?

what's up with restoring the interior body, footroom, floor etc?
