    beaker, Thanks for the compliments. I have owned this car, and another 914 not quite as original as this, for many decades. I remember when I was kid and would drive them...there would always be some poor sot who felt compelled to say "why don't you get a real Porsche"...I get it...totally get it. BUT...now that I have other real Porsches to compare the 914 to, it's always been a driver's car, in some ways more fun than the 911 of it's day and ton less to keep. Yes, it's an acquired taste in appearance...but it's unlike others.

    Perhaps their day has come...in some ways, I hope not...I would love keep things simple as they were when these were not a "real" Porsche.

    Figure our 356 is original enough to post. Has 80K on it with one repaint (in Lacquer) in 1982. Motor getting a rebuild as we speak. Interior is all original. Sorry not the greatest pics. Seems I have hundreds of the 911 and not many of the 356.
