    Rare competition MOMO prototipo 360mm

I bought this from Edmond Harris but can't keep it:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_500wt_1413

This is the style prototipo created specifically to supply racing teams. They were not available to retail buyers. Date is from approximately 1968
    $900 plus shipping

Supplied link shows that auction ended July 7?

"What we have here is a failure to communicate"

Okay. Allow me to clarify: I bought it from Edmond Harris outside of ebay... he ended the auction and sent it to me. I placed the wheel under my bed.

There might be someone who would trade it for a 917 wheel...

Who's your daddy? Tell him this IS a 917 wheel. Really guys. I'm not kidding around here. This is the real thing. Moretti made a small pile of them for Porsche and a few others, and that's it. These weren't on the shelf at the speed shop. I'll try to shoot better photos

From the Typ 917 Porsche brochure of 1969. Look closely. But really, there's a kazillion other photos of 908, 910 and 917 interiors with the same style wheel.
