    More McQueen Ephemera... Auction Estimates

Check out THESE bits for the well-heeled hero-worshiper! (worshipper?) Let's start with the ubiquitous Persols,
move on to some slightly soiled Nomex underwear... and work our way up.

    http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/...sol-sunglasses $2,500 - 3,500

    http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/...ns-racing-suit $4,000 - 6,000

    http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/...eam-stop-watch $8,000 - 10,000

    http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/...during-filming $15,000 - $20,000

    http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/...et-stopwatches $40,000 - 60,000

    http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/...ey-rain-jacket $80,000 -100,000

    http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/...ey-rain-jacket $80,000 - 100,000

    http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/...ey-heuer-watch $200,000 - 300,000

Peruse the additional lots, it's a Hollywood sale. Enjoy.

Quite curios to see the auction result. If someone will pay 300.000 USD for the Monaco I'll be happy for the smart seller, but a little frustrated....

One of the 4-5 known 'film used' versions of 'McQueen's Monaco' made a $650,000 hammer price, making an end price of $799,500 with the 23 % buyers premium added.......

That there is a huge number... yet the Heuer dash clocks didn't sell.

Interesting, those no-sales... the jackets, bike, Toledo scale and other stuff were all passed. Autographed glossy was $3K, Nomex
skivvies made $4200 and the Persols went for $6500. Passport sold for $37,500. Funny what people will spend ridiculous sums on.
