    Drivers door lock

Does the drivers door have to be locked from the key, or can it be locked from the inside before leaving vehicle 1970? The manual is very vague on this, my car will allow me to lock from inside. Every german car that I have owned will not allow you to lock from the inside, must use a key from outside, preventing you from locking keys in car.

You can lock the door from the inside on your car (like the passenger side door). Later 911s won't let you do that on the dirver's side.

I pull the tigger on door handle then push down on the button lock...then slam the door while I hold down the trigger..that how I lock my door...
