FS: '72 non sunroof coupe roller

    Chassis is Sold

Several weeks ago I impulsively purchased a 72 T non-sunroof coupe chassis (VIN# 9112101108) thinking that I would use it as a foundation to build a car over time. However, in the two months since the purchase I have come to realize that now is not the right time for me to begin a long-term project. Therefore, I am offering the chassis for sale. The chassis was originally equipped with a sportomatic and still has the pedal cluster. The conversion to a manual shift must have been underway because the shift tower has a short shift kit installed. The car was originally silver but now wears white. It has fiberglass ST arches welded to steel on four corners.

The chassis is equipped with the following:

    - polished 7's and 8's Fuchs and tires w/ good rubber
    - Fiberglass front and rear bumpers
    - 2 H4 Headlights
    - a set of T gauges
    - a dash with two cracks. Speaker panel is in very good condition.
    - a Racemark wheel and hub
    - 2 standard black seats with houndstooth inlay
    - 72 only oil reservoir
    - 72/73 flag mirror
    - Complete electrical system
    - Complete suspension

The chassis has been evaluated by John Esposito and is in very good condition. The rust is confined to the gas tank support. The floors are solid. The door and hood gaps are very good. The doors have never been off the car. There is no deck lid. Sekurit glass in all windows except the windshield.

There is no transmission or engine in the car.

Admittedly I am a poor photographer. The photo album and description above is my best attempt to fairly represent the car. Notwithstanding, I strongly encourage anyone interested to see the car in person and to speak with John so there are no misunderstandings.

Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. The chassis is currently in John Esposito’s shop in North Hollywood, CA. The chassis was last titled in Oregon.

Please contact me by email at popowitzd@gmail.com or at 323.842.2872 or by PM here. John has been kind enough to answer questions on the car. He can be reached at 818.469.1811.

    Thank you for your interest.

    Dave
