WTD RHD to LHD Parts and rust repair panels!

    Hi all,

I have decided to take on a Frankenmonster 1970S that is in need of a total resto (more details on it later!)

What I am after is those annoying parts in the garage that many of you have when you have done a LHD to RHD conversion.

I am going back the other way and returning this car to its original LHD configuration.

I am also after any rust repair panels that may have been left over from rebuild that people may want to get rid of.

Obviously pedal box, floor boards, dash, dash panel are a good start.

Rust repair = anything as its a where isn't it rusty project!

Oh, and a rotisserie in QLD ...... long shot!

    Thanks
    Tim Pritchard

Tim, the surgery you're going to be performing means you have to heavily support the car with braces. A rotisserie is not the recommended tool...

Think about an octisserie arrangement that supports the car at the suspension points and which offers structure to temporarily weld to so that yo can keep key peices of the structure secure whilst you cut other areas out.

    Hi Tim,

By coincidence i am about to undertake a rhd conversion on a lhd 73 911 in about 6 weeks time.
let me know what exactly you want and maybe we can work out a deal.
all conversion parts being removed are in very good condition as the car is a "solid" car.
i also have numerous other parts available in fair to excellent condition including dash top, dash facia panel, all guages, 5 sp 901 g/box and shifter, pedal assembly,6x15 fuchs, webers ,numerous mfi parts, fuel tank, silver horn grills ,door pockets, steering wheel ....etc

    Regards
