Do you wonder when the current owner has only driven the car 100 miles in two years?

To me, the only thing about this car that is even remotely 'R' like are the tail lights and fan shroud. I'm not saying it isn't cool (although I think the details are all over the map), but I don't think 911R when I look at it.

    My two cents.

With 340HP , why NOT drive fast in confort ?? GT3-RS & GT2 RS both have factory air.

    curt, you say why....

because gt3 cars are MODERN cars!

if i have to spend 100k usd for a VINTaGE car i want a REAL VINTAGE car! not an OLD car that want to be like modern ones!

if you want to drive seriously, a gt3 is 1000 times better than any vintage car. so, where is the point?

sorry, i can't understand..... it's beyond my mental faculties....

I totally agree with the fact that a GT3 is twice the car a 1973 RS is. Also, at 1/8 of the cost of the current market price of the RS. Having said that Andrea, this car looks to be a sorted Porsche. It's not a "R" production car and here again, we have a replica that supposedly has 100% more HP than it's master. Here in CA a speeding ticket is avg. about $800 if it's under 100MPH.

The US culture here of American Hotrods, you will frequently see many hotrods with Air/Cond done very nicely. Why, comfort. Most Western States
cars have A/C. Many Porsche guyz out here in SoCal have aftermarket A/C units.

My point is that this car is NOT one of the 20 original R production cars & has plenty of HP to drive Big Willow with the windows up. ( I know when you're on the track we must leave windows down).

you are correct - in a way it is just an outlaw, a "Vintage look" on a modern car - the added benefit is light weight and a smaller car without all of the federal regulations. An added benefit in California is lack of smog control (1975 or earlier) - a lot of compliance issues to smog even a very clean-running engine swap car otherwise

it should be a short wheel base also

we admire you for driving in Milan sans AC
