    It didn't sell. I saw it this morning after going uo for auction the night before and it had sticker on the window that read still for sale.

    The really surprising sale, however, was the #'s matching 70 911S silver coupe that went for $55k. It was driver quality with a cheap respray, but still at the price it sold it sure seemed like a good buy. It was also at Russo & Steele.

    I did see that S...and I too was surprised. They had a few nice early esses...probably the best selection of all the auctions.

    We ran into an old friend who was selling and he commented that the prices were too low overall.

    What we noticed was that very nice #1 cars were selling for huge money.
