    1974 Porsche Carrera

    This numbers matching Ducktail Carrera is finished in gleaming Grand Prix White single stage Glasurit paint trimmed in soft and original blue/black "pigskin" leather. Number 149 of a total production run of 246 Carrera Targas imported into the US. There are 564 breakin miles on this complete restoration. The 2.7 liter rebuild was at the hands of Ralph Krantz, former chief engine builder at Bauer Porsche/Racing for 29 years. A full tune and major service to include new belts, plugs, wires, shift bushings and clutch with correct lightweight pressure plate was also performed. This Carrera maintains its complete originality with restored and correct 7x15 front and 8x15 rear Fuchs alloys shod on new 205/225 60 series high performance tires. Option include fog lamps, Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo, Bilstein shocks and engine oil cooler. Performance is outstanding and shifts are clean and precise. The tools, air pump and all books are present along with the previous owners records dating back to 1977. Built for the serious driver and an excellent addition to any collection. $36,975.
