    SOLD!!!: '64-'65 One-Piece Knee Pad

    SOLD & Shipped!!! Thanks Magnus!!

Several years ago I bought a 1-piece knee pad for my '68 project. I was new to 911s, and didn't realize that it was not correct for '68, because it does not have the large corners. (Some of you may have read the 'Tech' discussion on this forum where I attempted to discern the correct year for this part.)

Frankly, I was surprised that the vinyl cleaned up so well. The knee pad is solid, although the glue has blackened and checked on the back side. The vinyl has one hole and several splits, as shown in the photos. The local vinyl furniture repair shop said that he could fix the vinyl, but that's your choice. (Frankly, I'd suggest just taking it apart and restoring the whole thing.) There are even a couple of the upholstery grommets still in place!

I asked for price/value information from the community, but received none, so I'll ask $175 for the piece, plus shipping and paypal. (If 2-piece knee pads are drawing over $100, I might be low, but for now, that's okay.)

    Additional Photos

As requested, these are photos of the ends of the knee pad, as well as the underneath area where the vinyl has pulled back.

I don't mean to be disrespectful to anyone, and I am answering the inquiries in the chronological order received, but just to be clear, firm commitments take priority over 'additional requests.' In other words, "I'll take it" is the response that "puts you in the REAL line." Again, no offense intended, but this is business.

I will get shipping to LA/CA and NJ tomorrow. (Sorry. Couldn't make it to USPS by closing today.)
