    Compression Test

I will be a getting a compression test performed on a 2.2 1970 911e. The previous owner stated the motor was rebuilt less than 30k miles ago. What would be an average to excellent range for psi on each cylinder? thanks.

A leak down test would be better as a compression test has a number of variables such as battery cranking ability from first cylinder to last, how many compression strokes do you give it and throttle open or closed? What you're mostly looking for is consistency, the closer all the cylinders are to the same number the better. Ideally no more than a 10 psi variation. I would expect the numbers to fall between 130-150.
