    Hi,

Just wanted to introduce myself and post the project that i have started. Bought this 2.2S Targa that had stood for 12 years. I live in Johannesburg, South Africa and we have an extremely dry climate. Therefore, the car bodywork was in excellent condition when the paint was stripped off.

The assembly is being done by a reputed Porsche tech in SA. Currently souring the following - any ideas?
    - front S bumper (any comment on whether the Dansk ones are any good)
    - front 'S' seats

I have attached two pics - the original purchase and the current status at the panel shop

    Regards

probably your least expensive option on seats are replicas by Dreser. They are very good copies but of course copies.

If you're asking about the 'S' spoiler bumper the 2.2 S cars had a standard bumper. The spoiler bumper started in 72. Looks like a very nice repaint.

Thanks for the feedback - i was about to buy an 'S' type spoiler/bumper which would have been a mistake!!! I happen to have a standard bumper from another project.

    Hi David,

Thanks for the lead. I googled Dreser but did not come up with anything - any websites that i can try. In addition, i heard that the Recaro sport seats for that era are being manufactured in Germany at a good deal - anybody heard about this?

    thanks for the help
