Don't be a smarty pants Richard
not being a smarty pants we often correct ourselves by adding valuable input here.
this is what I believe is a solid hub, but what do I know!
I have this one and weighs 2lbs and some change. (I removed the cancel ring to show behind)
I happen to be playing with hubs today and your
ad got me curious as another extended Momo turbo hub I have also was quite lighter than this noticeably heavier one
pictured below.
happypologies, am just trying to learn something here.

Richard, Richard. Something tells me you're not interested in buying this.. if you must...
this style MOMO hub is generally referred to as solid because the more modern MOMO hubs are made with a collapsible frame and a rubber covering.
Which I might add, most folks use these days because these are pricey ... I've seen quite a few of those plastic 'cloaking devices' too and if you ask me... they look just like what they're made out of... plastic
Mark, thanks for the info....indeed it was the pricy aspect that got to me. I see hubs $50-80, had not seen anything much more than that before.
So they are rare/htf I see and why the price. So one like I posted above is also $ought after?
I would have likely sold it for $50 or so. Knowledge is Power.
so paardon my intrusion, I should have put it in a question.

The 230C is the collapsible version and it has a rubber bellows. It is the one that goes for under $100. I have tried for months to sell one here and eveyone was looking for the solid version. The original 230 solid goes from $400-$600 based on condition and this one looks very nice.

I guess none of us consider the safety aspects of the collapsible hub versus the more solid version.....
