    1967 911 Vintage Period Race Car, 40 Year Race Career

    This old war dog has been a race car nearly all of it's life with log books to prove it (old photos are from the log books). It started life as a Polo Red 67 standard 911 with chassis number 307447. It has had a long racing career (mostly SCCA) and has survived as you see it. No rust anywhere, Original pans are wrinkled from years of competition but nothing major. Last raced in 09 and with some new rubber and a safety check should be ready to rock. It has a hot S plus spec 2.0 that was built on a blank case (now has builder's id#) Low hours with 6 sprint races. Short gears with LSD, Runs great. Brakes straight. It is fast, loud and stiff and would be a great car to cosmetically restore. This being a totally authentic old racer would be eligible to run at the more prestigious vintage events such as the Rennsport Reunion once cleaned up. Could be made street legal with the obvious.Sold on Bill of Sale.
