    WTB 1973 RS ducktail

    Hi guys,

I hope one you can help me in my search for a usable, steel framed RS ducktail. It would be great if one of you could point me in the right direction or even has a pristine (or at least nice one, hope never dies...) one on the wall of his garage

An aluminum framed one would be okay too but not really correct for my car (#813).

    Thanks for any help,
    Mike

    Mike,
I have an original alu-framed one on the wall of my garage and may sell it, BTW I would expect a car within your VIN range to have a alu one.

    Hi Mike,

I agree with Andrea your second series RS would have come with an AL frame tail based on all the other second series cars that have them from new.

    Hi Andrea,

Alu-framed is of course much nicer if correct. I initially thought it should be steel but just read the chapter "body" of my Gruber/Konradsheim again and it looks like you're right. Thanks for the correction!

If you sell it, I promise to take good care of it and never drive faster than 30 mph

Could you pm me with your price idea?

    Cheers,
    Mike

Thank you Brian, I appreciate it! It really looks like alu-framed is correct for my #813. Nevertheless, I would appreciate any offers/leads on steel-framed ones too in case I can't source an alu-framed.
