New product for an old problem

Brake Fluid Reservoir Overflow Catch Bottle

Most of the early 911's have a vent line running from the top of the brake fluid reservoir, down the left side of the front trunk and then exiting through a hole in the front latch panel and then.....straight on to the back side of the front bumper. Brake fluid getting on newly painted parts is no fun, and rerouting the vent line anywhere to the bottom side of the car will still result in getting brake fluid on something else. Years ago I don't think many people cared about the back side of the front bumper but I have recently seen some pretty nice cars soiled by this situation. I saw some rather swash-buckling fixes but I was holding out for a "Porsche-worthy" solution - I was not happy with water bottles, asprin containers, or Coke cans expertly ty-wrapped into position. I finally found a catch bottle that I am happy with. What you see in the picture is included. They are delivered with mushroom lock that will stick to a clean surface. Your original vent line slides right into the rubber tube.
