    Phil,

After looking through two sources I find no car #34 entered by Meznarie at the '74 Le Mans ... (also '73/'75)

    Hope this maybe helps....

Mmm, maybe the resource I was looking at was incorrect, as another source shows it as car #60, anyone know the later history of this ?

I have car #60 in the 1974 Le Mans being a RSR entered by Meznarie and driven by Striebig, Kirschoff and Chateau it retired in 5th hour with a broken distributor drive after being in 40th place
apart from engine 2993 (95x70.4) and it being yellow with BP sponsorship no other Identification

the only other thing is a photo of it looks to have brightwork surround on windows etc which would suggest it was not a "real" 1974 RSR but one built up from a car from an earlier year

    Phil,

In doing some research in the 1974 program and press service hourly results,I can confirm Hugh's response.
No car 34 but Meznarie's car was 60 but it doesn't show a third driver.
The programme shows the capacity as 2995 cc and no chassis number.
No pics of either the car or the driver/s.
I have keenly followed Porsches' racing in this era but neither the entrant nor the drivers' names ring a bell for me.
The progressive press list at 9:30 am show 60 as 'incidents / abandons '.
Do you have a story for us here ??

1970 914-6 - materialised from the 'Lotto' garage into reality
    1971 2.2 911 S - now back in the UK - sob!
1975 Carrera Targa (ROW) - missed.

I was trying to establish if this was an upgraded car or an original RSR, my thoughts were that it was upgraded from an earlier model, and if anyone could shed light upon the actual chassis number or early history

    Good stuff. More info here...

The picture showing a lack of center-lock wheels would indicate that this was not an original RSR.

found this model of the car, I guess it must have replicated the '74 livery
