    FS: Early Gas Tank

Nice original gas tank. Peeking through the sender hole, it appears clean and not rusty. No dents...good old tank. I think this was from a 69

Price : $375 plus actual boxing and shipping. Deposit required before I have it boxed.

    Thanks

I realize this is an older post, but is this tank for 69 or? I see the bump for the spare tire is full vs. some are angled off. What are the differences and years. Thx

this tank looks like a SWB tank while the angled one you mention fits '69-73. BTW, the 73.5 CIS tank looks ths same on top as the 69-73 tank but has different fuel line connections on the bottom.

OK, but from what I have read, the early SWB tanks did not have the Schutz on them? or was it only the very early SWB tanks?

'67, '68 has Schutz. I have no idea about '64-'66 so what you have read may be absolutely correct for those years.

I do know that the 68's had Schutz. I am trying to figure out what 65-66 would have looked like. Bump shape and colors. Thx
