    Dust and Glory

.....or at least we made a run for it.

Last weekend had unforgettable time in Mojave Desert racing buggy........Self evaluation for Baja 1000.

Five laps in a desert, 72 miles each lap. Race start at 3:00pm and ended way after midnight..........not for everyone though.

Entusiasm took its toll and our buggy DNF based on front right spindle failure , leaving driver stranded in the desert for +4 h before our crew found him.............all smiles and stupid grins on the faces ,afterwards, couldn't be wiped out until I left for east coast.

    till Next time !

Neat adventure Gytis. I've always wanted to try something like that, but RI isn't exactly close to the epicenter of interest for those rigs. And neither is NJ for that matter, how'd you end up in the desert?

Jim, I totally see it being YOUR CUP A TEA.....

....how did I end up there ? I guess simplest answer would be : when you need to get that FIX you'll go the distance.

I will spill the beans over bottle of beer next time we'll get together.

..almost out the desert ...and that is when the tire on truck went "pooof"......
