Thanks, guys! And a well deserved congrats to Chris Pomares for the vision he displayed in creating his Polo 912.

This forum continues to inspire me with great builds and amazing info. This car was one that stood out, and Pete Stout of Excellence was kind enough to assign me to cover it.

After our road test I told Chris (who is a great guy), "It's a fantastic machine - too bad everyone can't have the opportunity to drive it." I still feel that way.

I was really impressed by the uniqueness of this car, the way it handles and the power delivery. Should be a big hit at the 912 gathering in Cambria two weeks from now.

Cars and Coffee in Montectio 9-30

As I'm not in California that often and as the car might change hands I thought I would post this.

Los Osos golf course the morning of 9-29.

I will try to attend this Cars and Coffee on Sunday the 30th if you are in the area. I was given these directions by someone who lives in the area.

A week from Sunday, 30th, the last Sunday of the month, Coffee and Cars is in Upper Montectio, a small shopping area between San Ysidro Rd. and Santa Angela Ln., exit San Ysidro head north, inland, past E. Valley Rd. Shopping center will be on your left.

I will be in Costa Mesa the evening of 9-25 and 10-1.
    Chris
