    Spacer and o-ring

    On my 71 911t they show a spacer and o-ring on the front strut before you put the hub and bearing assy on.my car does not have them.what are their purpose and should i put them on.

    you need them. It is a spacer and is where the wheel bearing seal rides. gled

    Are you sure they aren't there? The spacer looks like an integral part of the spindle and the hub seal rides on its outside diameter. The inner bearing seats against its face.
