    Tom woodford recovering from major surgery

    Tom is home recovering from having two of the vertebrae in his neck fused, he says he is starting to feel better but he won't be able to do much for sometime.

    I let him know I would be posting this so feel free to contact him,

    I miss not having him down here in So Cal.

    Best of luck with the recovery! I had C4,5 and 6 fused about 10 yrs ago with excellent results. Got hit by snowboarder and broke my neck. I used the down time to do all those little projects I never could get to and did a lot of reading as well. The tough part for me was not getting fat. I'm pretty active and like to eat so I went on a strict diet and found new ways to get my heart rate up so I did not lose much fitness. The only lingering side effect is occaisional pain where they took the bone from my hip for the fusion. No cadaver bone for me. You should do fine, good luck and best. Steve #2
