    40IDA 3c Parts

Most of the 40IDAs we have look quite scruffy and it has been difficult to restore the vent tubes fitted in the cover of the carb.

Not the most difficult parts to make but we have some new tubes in 316L Stainless and some M7 Stainless Washers to finish off.

We should have new studs in Stainless in the next few days.

Its good news that there will be plenty of parts to refurb carbs and keep them running even when not supported by the manufacturers.

These are various Solex and Weber plates that are going off to be vibro'ed before finishing.

Some will need to be case hardened as they have to be wear resistant to operate the pumps.

We have all the turnbuckes for Weber, Solex, Zenith and MFI systems ready.

The MFI Throttle body Turnbuckles are made in either Stainless Steel or Aluminium as the early units used this material.

Throttle shafts in 8mm and 8.5mm are being manufactured next month and will be available for Weber 40IDA3c, Zenith 40TIN, Solex 40Pl and MFI units.

We have all the gaskets and O Rings for Solex 40Pl as well as pump rods, pump rod springs and diaphragms in an ethanol reistanat material

I will post the throttle shaft pictures when they are completed.

We have a jig with the correct angle for Solex throttle plates and will also make jigs to suit Weber, Zenith and MFI plates so we can easily make up oversized parts.

The stainless studs finally arrived and will work in Weber, Zenith and MFI.

I may have some plated with 'yellow' zinc just for appearance.

Hello Paul, what is the cost of the four early vent screens with screws and washers?

Might as well also provide the price for the vent tubes and levers. I also need new nuts to hold down the tops to the bodies and possibly newly chrome horns and the 12 nuts too.

You can email me directly at ajserrano at msn dot com

    Thanks!

Hello Chris, what's the price of a complete set of the yellow zinc studs? Maybe you can also email me ajserrano at msn dot com a price list (w/photos) of any other parts you might have available. I have both, 40's and 46's.

    Thanks!
