    WTB: Solex snorkel 911

I'm looking for a snorkel for an early 911 Solex airbox. I do have the rest of the stuff.

    Thanks!

I have it but would like to trade rather than sell. Looking for a "non vented" style right side.

    So lex make a deal?

(I'll throw cash in of course.)

I know of six people looking for one. Might be something to pick up for the parts producers here, should not be too hard to reproduce.

Find that non vented piece and you won't have to come up for air like your 5/6 friends!

Cliff, I don't believe so. I think the only difference is the "double wall" on the inside of the vented ones.
I'm trying to hook Mr. Erik up but in the meantime keep lifting rocks.

We have a shed at our shop that was our catch-all for 30 years. I haven't scrounged through it in at least 20.
I think it's time... as soon as the weather cools down to under 95 deg. Maybe what I need is right under my nose.

The non-vented are definitely shorter. I have both. http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...-dated-as-well

    Well there you go Cliff.
Have we determined when they went to vented? April '65 build date?
