    69 Color codes 9822 and 9824 ?

    Hi,

    I'm starting to restore my 69 S and 69 E. My COA interior codes are
    Leather/9822 and Leather/9824. Does anyone know what 9822 and 9824 are ?

    Thank You,
    Robert

    1969 interior color codes

    Thank You Classic,

    On the COA it shows Leather/9822 on one and Leather/9824 on the other and they both came with black interiors when I bought them. The color codes may be brown but what about the Leather on the COA ?. These are both 1969 and 1970 and later codes may be different. I only want to restore them to original as possible so I have to be sure before I make any moves.

    Thanks Again,
    Robert

    Robert check this thread it has both 69 and 70 US and ROW interior colour codes.

    Leder = Leather

    Kunstl = Leatherette

    I did a fair bit of research for my 69 that I've been restoring, which was red with the interior done all be it poorly in tan, when in fact it should, and now is Ultra Blue with Black Leatherette interior.

    In other words I know what your going through.

    If you can scan an image of your Cardex I'm sure Someone else with a lot more knowledge then me is bound to chime in and help decipher it.

    Hello Guys,

    Don't want to hijack your thread but my interior is 9922 and was told its black from the factory,
    Do you agree this is correct or would it have been brown?

    The car is a 69t, interior is now black but not sure if its original or not. Some may have been
    Recovered, my seats are leather but guess this could be why it was special order 9922.

    Is there a specialist on the forum who could look at a few pics on my seats and advise there
    Authenticity.

    Cheers lee
