    Tangerine 1971S Targa For Sale - 90K

I purchased the car from a posting on Pelican in 2004 for $15,200, and of course the purchase price was a drop in the bucket compared to restoration expenses.
The car has been restored to mostly original, except : 1) I added thru the grill fog lights, 2) I installed non-orginal seats. The seats (Peter Zwinakis) were done by Autos-International in leather with the perforated head rests, 3) the front fender oil cooler is MOCAL, but the original brackets and protection plate were used in the install, 4) I installed an aluminum decklid. Compression was 150 on 1-5 and 130 on #6, so the engine was not touched but, everything else that needed repair was, including fuel pump, injectors, etc., the bill for the mechanical was $17,700 is 2006.
Complete restoration of the body included NOS fron fenders from Sunset, new rockers, and hood. The paint and body work was completed in 2005. THe car has had little use since completion, but does had a few rock chips that I have not re-touched.
The COA confirms original engine, the COA on the transmission is # 117364, my mechanic shows the # as 7117364, I'm not sure who is correct, but I presume the transmission is original.
The interior has new carpet, door pockets, dash etc. I did not do anthing with the rear seats as they were nice, althought there is some warping of the rear seat panel underneath the rear window.
    New tires were installed.
The car has had little use, hence I am letting it go. It needs nothing, and I would not hesitate to drive the car anywhere. I have reciepts for the work performed. Who ever puchases the car can have confidence the body work was performed correctly as there is absolutely no rust anywhere on the car.
I have the original tool kit, jack, and owners manual, which show the dealer entries for approximately the first 30K miles. I will email pictures to interested parties. Thank you. Jon

Good luck with your sale. What's the VIN (for future reference)?
