8&9/15 Fuchs and relevant Michelin TB15 sizes

    Dear all:
My car benefits from a nice rim footprint with 8&9/15 fuchs. I am considering the Michelin TB15 and I see 2 possible combos:

    8*15 front: 18/60 (215/55-15) and
    9*15 Rear: 23/62 (270/45-15)

This is a tried and true marriage and I have seen different cars equipped like this (especially 3.0l RS). It looks nice although the rear tyres are not stretched enough across the rim in my opinion.

Some highly regarded specialists mention that the following combination should also work:

    8*15 front: 15/60 (170/65-15)
    9*15 rear: 18/60 (215/55-15)

I have already seen TB15 in 215/55 dimensions fitted on 9inch Fuchs at the front of 2.8l RSR and it looks glorious. My question is more about the fitment of the rather skinny 170/65 on 8inch fuchs. Has anyone tried it in real life? Did it fit well? Some pics would be worth a thousand words ;-))))
    Thank you in advance !
    Mathieu

I've seen most people use the 18/60 and 23/62 combo. Thinking of going that route with my 9x15 and custom 10x15 Fuchs with ST flares
