    FS: Original Grateful Dead posters

Hello there, I am selling some stuff to pay off some debts that I have from my wedding, booh!
So I have an incredibly nice poster, definitely one of the nicest in existence if not the nicest, of Family Dog 26, undoubtedly the most famous poster from the Family Dog series, as well as the most recognized image ever used by the Grateful Dead. It is from the Ralph Gleason collection, the sixties rock critic for the SF chronicle, as well as for other publications. I have documentation from the gentleman who purchased Gleason's entire collection that this was indeed Gleason's copy of FD26. It is well known that the gentleman I purchased this from is the person who purchased Gleason's collection. $13,000 obo
AOR-3.116 Hawaiian Aoxomoxoa handbill $3500 obo: I purchased this from a top auction house a few years ago. There are believed to be between 20 and 25 posters in existence, same goes for the handbill. Apparently the show was canceled and the printer was never paid so they destroyed what they thought were all of the posters and handbills, here is one of the handbills that survived. In wonderful condition.
AOR-2.163 handbill $500 obo: also known as Berry Dropper, in wonderful condition.

More pics coming. All of these are without a doubt original 1st printings.

I had no idea this stuff was worth so much!

This may be one of the coolest For Sale threads on the forums; great pieces that I wish I could afford. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful posters, Spencer. The provenance and condition are fantastic.

I also collect, but keep mostly to the more recent, silkscreened gigposters (and the occasional letterpress).
