    Those were neat cars. closest thing to a formula car for the street. My only complaint is they tended to get a drone and vibration due to the 4 banger.
    Some were actually produced in Mexico too for a short while in the late 60's when Renault had a big plant there.
    At least they don't rust.

    Philt68's car is beautiful... Late build, great stance on those w-i-d-e wheels. Probably a 1600S motor, n'est-ce pas? Just about the ultimate A110. Steve Sailors gave me a ride in his Alpine -- he wasn't a small guy and I'm even bigger and we both fit comfortably. An A110 isn't Porsche flat-six smooth, but it's a car to point-and-squirt in a wonderfully rorty edgy je ne regrette rien style. Wish that I could do this deal, but I've got college checks to write for my kids. Thanks for sharing some really great photos!
