Oil cap anodizing on '65/'66: gold or silver?

I'm having my oil cap refurbed and am curious of anyone knows the correct anodizing color? I think it is silver, given I can't see any traces of gold ano on the cap, but that doesn't mean much.

Anyone know for sure?

I went with silver. What does your cap say on the underside?

Here is a pristine 67S. Note the yellow chromate on many parts as one would expect in '67. Note filler neck. And now, the silver cap.
