    From BaT . . . .

. . . This 1970 Porsche 911T (Chassis 9110122021) had a prior owner who was a Garfield County Colorado Judge whose death was untimely and the car was parked in his barn in 1988. The current seller came upon the car in 2006, cleaned off the pigeon droppings, removed it from the barn, and has stored it in his shop ever since. He has taken over 100 photos of the car and provided several videos of it running and driving, as shown below. It is available in Basalt, Colorado for $14,500 OBO . . .

. . . The seller says he was hoping to slowly restore the Porsche and present it to his oldest daughter on her 16th birthday, which thankfully is still 7 years away. He now says reality has set in after 6 years of ownership and the free time he was hoping to have to put into the car for the restoration has all but faded away due to being a husband, father and small business owner. The interior of the car looks mostly intact but could use a good cleaning and some upholstery work on the driver seat bottom . . .

. . . The original fuel tank was full of spoiled fuel and water. The seller removed the tank, stripped and sand blasted it, but did not reinstall it due to concerns with the internal corrosion. He has a new fuel tank from Pelican Parts still in the shipping box. After removing and cleaning the fuel pump, he was able to start the motor using a gasoline I.V., as shown in the video below . . .

. . . He says the car started and ran remarkably well for a vehicle that had been sitting since 1988. He has driven the car with the gasoline I.V. set up, and all forward gears work, as well as reverse. He has not made any repairs to the car, not even to replace the tires, and it is in the condition from when he removed it from the barn in 2006. The car has some rust which is shown in the photos, particularly in the driver’s door jamb and beneath the rear window. He says that fortunately Colorado does not use salt on the roads in the winter and the climate is dry . . .

. . . The seller has a clean title for the vehicle and a booklet from the glove box. He says there is not much other paperwork from the previous owners . . .
