Looking for a photo. Bosch Yellow 73 safari car ?

I had a photo somewhere unless it was a dream( it is a shot of the interior of one of the Yellow Bosch cars from the 1973 Safari rally. I have searched high and low. Now, was it in a book, or did i see it on the web.?

The picture is taken of the drivers seat side on, with the door open. Nobody is in the seat and the seatbelt harness is hanging by the B post. Full color.

Any help please guys. I am pulling my hair out in frustration

    Thanks in advance

    Dave

    Hi Dave,

The picture you are thinking of is in the Carrera RS book.

Picture on page 185. No, sorry guys that's not the one. Very similar but photo is taken more forward than that image. you can see the seatbelt with the Repa tag hanging down by the B post. Maybe someone is sitting in the seat, Jurgen Barth maybe ?

    Thanks for your help.

    Dave,

since you even know what page the photo ( which I deleted to avoid copyright issues) is on, sounds as if you may own the RS book or have access to a copy.

If you do, there is a photo on page 183 with Jürgen Barth sitting in the pass. seat, but not a hint of REPA belt. If you go to page 152 of the RS book, there is a shot as you describe, with the seat-belt hanging from the B pillar with what looks like a REPA label.

What specific piece of information are you after anyway. Surely there must be a simpler way to get it than this.

Yes John, i have the book. Looked through it twice today

I am looking to color match the Yellow Repa harness tag. I cannot get a match from the side view shots. I have asked on the board with no luck.

I really want a shot from a factory car as there are many replica tags with the wrong color.
Hence the question. + it is irritating me now

So, anyone have a clear color shot of an original factory car with the Yellow Repa harness tag ??
