    Braided Fuel Line Size, 71T?

I've got a stock 71T with Zenith carbs that currently has smooth rubber hose in the engine compartment. I'd like to replace it with the correct cloth braided hose since the smooth hose is obviously very old and wanted to know what size(s) I need. I can't seem to sort out exactly which size is correct as it seems people use both 7.0mm and 7.5mm ID hose in the engine compartment. Which is corrrect for a 71T?

Also, is 9.0mm ID correct for the lines running from the tank to the pump?

Lastly, which size hose is actually attached to the small brass fuel lines running along the side of carbs? It looks like stock diameter VW Bug fuel hose. Is this correct?

Thanks in advance and sorry for the dumb question but I can't seem to sort it out from any of the manuals I've got.

Although either works I prefer the 7.5mm hose, I think the larger size slips on the barbs just a little easier, besides why not use the larger size for more flow. 9.0 is correct for the suction side. I think the small fuel line you mention is 3mm, not sure, just measure the O.D. of the brass lines.
