    Looking for advice on seat material sources

    Hi -

    I'm currently undergoing a complete restoration of my Sept '70 2.2s Targa and early next year will be getting to the interior. Whilst I'm going for 'shiny and chromey' on the outside, the interior I want to look aged and patina'd as much as possible.

    However, I do have to re-cover the Recaro sports seats and could do with some help and advice. I've decided that I'm going to go for basket-weave insert with perforated bolsters, but have no idea on how easy it will be to purchase sufficient, 'correct' material. I'm looking to replicate this which is also in a 2.2s Targa.



    Any help and guidance would be gratefully received.

    Autos International also has the correct materials. Both in California, so whichever suits you.

    How about selling your seats and getting some which are original and don't need a recover?
