    FS: Perfect 5.5" Wheels

    ** 911 Jewelry **

This is a set of four rare 5.5" wheels correct for 1968. The word "perfect" is appropriate here. I bought them from a seller who says they were refinished in Germany. I bought them as a backup for my '68 Soft Window Targa, but Harvey is almost done with my other set and, as we know, they will be perfect also. So I'm going to go ahead and sell these to help pay for the SWT.

    Part Number: 901.361.012.04
    Dates: 2/68, 5/68, 1/69, 2/68

Here are pictures of the front and back of one of them. There are constraints to how many images I can post here, but I would be glad to send pictures of each one.

These are not cheap. But all you have to do is put tires on them and mount them on your car. I doubt you could source them (5.5's are tough to find) and have them redone for this cost.

    Now listed on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/300797745220?item=300797745220
    BIN: $2,650

    Thanks,
    JohnA

I have two goals in selling vintage Porsche parts: get them in the hands of fellow enthusiasts and raise some money for my ever present restoration (currently the '68 911L Tangerine Soft Window Targa). For those of you who haven't been to my website, here are the steps I follow when I sell parts:

    (1) List in the Classifieds here.

    (2) If they don't sell here after a few days, list at Pelican.

    (3) If they don't sell here or on Pelican, list on eBay.

As you know, pricing of vintage parts is not an exact science. If parts don't sell here or at Pelican, it probably means I had them priced too high. At that point eBay is a pretty efficient way to determine pricing, as much as I don't care for eBay.

    Bump.

Since this is such a high price item I went ahead and listed it on eBay:

    John

The e-bal listing will not allow shipping to Canada. Will you accept bids from other than US buyers? Thanks.

    Hearts?

Looking at the photos on E-bay, it seems there is a mixture of hearts and non-hearts... can you confirm? thanks a lot...

    They're all hearts.

And I've cleared it for international bidding and shipping.

    Thanks,
