    Shock Color

My 68 911 had Koni shocks (in Boge struts) which were pretty shot. After searching a lot I finally talked to Koni and they said I could order the correct shocks from Holland and it would be between 6 months and never before I got them. So, I went with Bilsteins and now I have bright green dust covers on the top of the struts with Koni red/orange on the bottom half. Like its Christmas in the wheel wells.

So, is there a paint that matches the Bilstein green?

Yes, go to your local auto parts store and pick up some John Deere Green tractor/farm paint. It's spot on.

I am a bit confused. Your Boge struts were, originally, blue/grey, in color. How did they get painted red?

PO painted them. But that was the least damaging thing he did!

So, just paint the struts and dust covers the proper color and don't give a D^*m what color the inserts are or what brand.
