Price Check - Marelli Cap and Rotor

Any suggestions on what a very good (almost NOS) Marelli cap (901.602.953.00) and rotor is worth?

I have an NOS cap myself and suspect they aren't worth much because the distributors are so bad. Most people just chuck the whole thing and replace with Bosch.

The distributors are not bad at all. They work just fine. They were shunned by many "purists" right from the beginning. They didn't want an Italian distributor in their German car. Little did they know that their alternator was made in France. Replacement parts have been almost impossible to find, that is the biggest problem. They are now available. Just sayin'

Exactly. Nothing wrong with the Marelli at all, just a lack of consumables...

I have a pile of them that indicates otherwise (Even with good bushings have you seen what the dwell angle does at high RPM?).
Anything is rebuildable as long as you can get parts. I believe Fishcop is right regarding the "consumables". I'm just not sure why one would put money into a Marelli when they can buy a Bosch (Especially since the Bosch is much cheaper to service when it comes time for bushings, points, cap, and rotor.)
