Just got my fall 2012 Esses, another great edition, cover to cover.

Just wanted to send a big 'thank you' to Chris Parker (Dana's son) for the terrific write-up of the 30th annual Labor Day 30th annual historics festival at Lime Rock...it was a great event, and a great write-up by Chris.

Just got mine yesterday; not bad for having to cross a border.

This issue has another great cover by Nicolas Hunziker. It shows a 73 RSR in a rally competition with Minilites, which Nic says were used in Europe for road work. I found these shots from the 'Old rally photos' thread, and there were probably others. This is one of my favorite of all of Nic's works as it captures the most significant features of the 73 RSR in a dynamic mode with an interesting background. His proportions for the car and shading using light features to highlight flares, wheels, oil cooler, window shapes are exceptional. I hope ESSES and Nicolas share a long future together.

I thought those were Campagnolos? Looks like the race depicted is the Targa. Does anyone have the photo or a photo of the car Nicolas was working from?
