pleat in the seat question

Hi,

I recently purchased my first 911, a 1971 t targa. the front seats are pretty lumpy, especailly the drivers, and I plan on having them restuffed and restored to a condition similar to when they were new. My question is - did the 71 911 have the pleat in the front seats. This was standard for 356's which is what i primarily owned before. The 1970 coupe listed as "sold" at European Collectables has pleats in the seats but most cars i have looked at in auction pics do not.

thanks for the quick response. when i restuff my seats next year i will see that the pleats are put in. in the 356 world this is one of the most overlooked items when a restoration is done but I did not know about 911's.
